How Does Coaching Work?

Who is coaching for?
Athletes wanting to support a healthy weight, muscle gain, and/or improved performance.
What do we talk about in nutrition coaching?
As your nutrition coach, we’ll address your consistency killers, work to transform habits, find out what’s really triggering your hunger, address manipulating mindsets that sabotage your good intentions, and implement fundamentals that apply to all seasons of life to empower you to get in charge of and around your food.
How are the meetings structured?
We’ll start with a 45-60 minute initial consult, where we will go over your nutrition and health history, daily intake patterns, your biggest struggles, and goals. From there, we will create a some starting action steps to get you going ASAP and I’ll work on your personal meal plan (delivered within 24 hrs). Check-ins are on a weekly basis as needed. During check-ins, we will go over the previous week’s wins, challenges, and game plan for the upcoming week.
How will coaching be done?
Once you purchase, you will receive an email with all you need to know. But here’s an overview.
Your email will provide our Nutrition Coaching Starter Packet and will include a link to schedule your initial consult.
Nutrition coaching begins with an initial consult (around 45-60 minutes) where we will go over the intake form (included in the Nutrition Coaching Starter Packet), and get to know your goals and make a game-plan. You’ll walk away with enough info to get you going. Check-ins are generally every other week and are ~15-20 minutes. All meetings are done using secured video conferencing from Zoom.Us. A meeting ID & passcode will be provided to you.
Do you work with medical nutrition-related conditions?
Our focus is on nutrition coaching for performance and coaching to support long-term lifestyle nutrition changes during maintenance.
However, our Registered Dietitian Nutritionist is licensed in several states to perform medical nutrition therapy.
